About…

First up, I know what it’s like to change your lifestyle. I know the struggles, the excuses, the reasons why you’ll just start next month and not today. I took small steps to change my own life, and then helped others do the same.
Health for me is a passion. Feeling well in your physical and mental self is one of the best feelings ever. I want to help others achieve this feeling - and that’s not to say striving for a perfect, healthy life. None of us have that, but we can help ourselves so much with some realistic changes, to lead your best, healthiest life.

“What’s your sport?”

A question I get often, is “So, what’s your sport?” or “How do you train?”.

My answer is “a bit of anything and everything!”.

I was brought up as a competitive swimmer from when I was super young, and eventually ended up just training for swim fitness until I was about 16.
After a few years of not really doing anything fitness related, I started HIIT and running. In 2012, I found the weights and I never looked back. Weight training became - and still is - a consistent staple of my training, regardless of anything else I’m doing.

I completed the Falmouth Half Marathon in 2013, and then continued gym training up until 2016 when I discovered CrossFit. I really loved it and the shift in mindset it brought for how I look at fitness, and through that discovered and liked Olympic lifting (and gymnastics but it ain’t my forte!). I trained and did a few fun competitions for a few years and then settled into working and training at Falmouth Sports Hub from 2018, and now also Sequoia in Penryn.

Over that time I discovered a love for sea swimming, dabbled in a couple of triathlons and cycling in the summer too - bringing my training resumé to a pretty full one!

Reflex Nutrition

I am currently a PT affiliate for Reflex Nutrition. I have used their products for over 10 years, since the day I really started getting into health and fitness - and I have never been let down. Their products are manufactured in the UK with nothing but high quality ingredients and they are simply a brand I have always recommended to others for supplements. I currently use their Vegan Protein Powder & Muscle Bomb Preworkout (without caffeine). I’ll be purchasing their Super Greens & Gut Health product next!
