Vegan High Protein/Low Carb BALLZ

Ah, the ol’ protein ball recipe. There are heaps of them online, and once you get the gist of the basics you need, you can make any flavour combo you like pretty much - but here’s mine with what I had available!

The reason I didn’t add anything like oats here, was that I Wanted something high protein and high fat to break my fasts on certain days, so these with a protein shake were always a good shout!

  • 1 cup ground almonds

  • 2-3 scoops Vegan protein powder (I used Reflex Nutrition - use my affiliate link to get yourself a huge 35% off! https://bit.ly/3MVbnIT

  • 1/2 cup of any nut butter (I used Pip & Nut crunchy peanut butter)

  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed

  • 1/4 cup of chia seeds (I added both of these for extra good nutrient gainz)

  • Add non dairy milk or even water to mix them all and bind it until its a texture that you know you can roll some balllls!

  • Mix all of these together - and then you can leave as they are or melt some dark chocolate, or even roll in desiccated coconut (which I’ve done with my second batch!).

    These are great for storing in the fridge for days or even freezer, and are a good go to for a sweet tooth, and if you are looking to increase your protein intake!
